What is a bridge faucet?
A bridge faucet connects the hot and cold water lines above the counter through a horizontal "bridge," a classic design from early 20th-century kitchens. It requires 2 holes in your countertop or sink deck.
Which spread do I need — 6" or 8"?
Measure the distance between the centers of your two existing faucet holes. Most US kitchens use 8" spread; 6" is common on smaller sinks. We offer both.
How will the finish age?
Unlacquered brass darkens gradually into a deep antique patina with daily use. If you prefer the brighter look, polish it back anytime with a standard brass cleaner.
Is this solid brass, or just a gold-colored finish?
