FAQs
Is this solid brass, or just a gold-colored finish?
100% solid brass, inside and out — no plating, coating, or coloring. What you see is the real metal, handcrafted in our workshop.
Will the finish change over time?
Yes — beautifully. Unlacquered brass is a living finish: it arrives bright and golden, then develops a warm, natural patina that is unique to your home. Prefer the original shine? A quick polish brings it right back anytime.
Does the faucet come with a drain?
Bathroom drains are sold separately — you'll find matching unlacquered brass drains in our Drains & Hardware collection.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free worldwide. US orders arrive in 3–5 business days via DHL/UPS, after a 1–2 day processing period. Delivery times for other countries vary — contact us for an estimate. Need it faster? Reach out before ordering and we'll arrange expedited shipping.
What is your return policy?
14-day returns, no hassle. If something isn't right, email us at info@thehouseofbrass.com and we'll take care of it.
Do your products have a warranty?
Every piece is backed by a 5-year warranty, and we provide any replacement parts needed.
Can I order a custom size or configuration?
Absolutely — most pieces can be customized (height, spread, spout reach, handle style). Email info@thehouseofbrass.com with your specs and we'll craft it for you.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
International orders may occasionally be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are collected by the shipping carrier or local customs authorities and are separate from your order payment.
If DHL or another carrier contacts you regarding a customs payment, please complete the payment so your shipment can continue through clearance. Once paid, send us the receipt or proof of payment at info@thehouseofbrass.com, and we can reimburse part of the customs fee.
If you are unsure whether a customs payment request is legitimate, please contact us before paying and we will be happy to help verify it.
Why did I receive a customs payment request from DHL?
DHL may contact you directly when your shipment reaches customs in your country. These messages are sent by DHL or the local customs authority, not by The House of Brass, so they may not always display your store order number. If you are unsure about a message you receive, forward it to us and we will help you verify it.
